Day 18 – Prevost to Montegue Harbor

May 19, 2009 ~ Sunny and breezy morning with an uneventful crossing of Trincomali Channel into Montegue Harbor. A very short day of about 3 miles. Low on snacks… despite that, I am sitting here munching on banana chips. Fuel has been lasting 4 days per bottle. We’ve been using white gas. My back is really sore from that drawstring on my drysuit. I am probably going to untie it tomorrow. Crappy but plentiful lunch of discount boxed mac and cheese. Lounged around waiting for Bill to give us a lift to town to go to the ATM to get some Canadian money… but bill never came. Paid USD instead. Tried a new recipe for dinner – empanadas. Rained off and on today.
