It All Fits

We put all of our stuff into our kayaks (Current Designs Cypress and Infinity – both British style skeg boats with day hatches) today and it all fits fine. This experiment included our BV450 Bear Vaults, but did not have any food in addition to the bear vaults. We definitely have enough extra room for food, though, as well as an extra pair of socks, warm hat, that sort or thing. My day hatch was completely empty… which we’ll need that room for food.

On our kayak decks, we’ll have our spare paddles (Werner Camano and Littler Dipper), our array of electronics, and (on one of our deck’s) our PowerFilm solar charger, harnessing the sun’s mighty energy (yep, even on overcast days!).
