Hiking near Sorata

I exchanged some rather mundane emails with my Mom while preparing for a trek in Sorata, Bolivia….and accidentally freaked out my mother!

Thanks for the note….I doubt I’ll be able to meet up with bill but it is a possibility. Anything is down here…except fast travel! I’ll write him back later. Internet is wicked expensive in sorata so I won’t be checking in much…but I’m here and safe, planning some sort of trek. Will call if I get the chance…no working phones in town so it’ll be later….and write when I get the chance.
This place is absolutely incredible….look up some pictures if you get the chance!!!

Nice and sunny here today. I will look up pictures. I can’t wait to see your pics and hear all of your stories. (you’ll be home in 3 months!!) I would love to come to visit you there – some day perhaps!
