Packing Food Rations (Photos!)

We packed our first food ration and are working on our shipments. We used the NOLS ration system to plan out meals.

4 Apryle { 04.27.09 at 1:03 pm }: We were not as prepared as we hoped to be in choosing and packing the resupply boxes, so we were afraid that by the time we shipped it to Harrisburg, then shipped asked you to ship it to such-and-such town, that it might not get there in time and would add a lot of cost. We also had a lot of things like special biodegradable soap and powdered laundry detergent that we had to repackage into smaller bags and containers… the whole thing is quite a process. Ultimately, we just ran out of time. We still have to look up the addresses of the general delivery post offices and add a few other things to the boxes before they can go out. I will post those post office addresses on here and when we expect to be in that town once I have that info.
