Our Route

Here is a Google Map showing more or less where we camped each night. We used a Spot Personal Satellite Messenger to send an OK! message each evening to our friends and family. The unit worked almost flawlessly, with every message received and only two errors in pinpointing our location over the course of 111 nights.

Here is a map of the route we planned for ourselves using charts and guidebooks before the trip. Green tent markers represent likely campsites. The purple line approximates our planned route. Pushpins represent points of interest including: salmon farm tour, Living Oceans Society, and a bear observatory. Red caution areas are points where we will exercise extra caution.
